Welcome to the official website of the Building
Inspectors Association Southeastern Wisconsin Region (BIASEW).
Our Objectives:
- To promote higher professional and ethical
standards in the field of building inspection.
- To establish and maintain a good working
relationship with the building industry.
- To promote the adoption of the Wisconsin Uniform
Building Code.
- To promote uniform administration, interpretation
and enforcement of the Wisconsin Uniform Building Code.
- To periodically review new materials, methods of
construction, devices and equipment.
Membership
Membership Types:
- Regular Member - A regular member shall be one
duly authorized building inspector or building official, so
designated by the governmental unit he so serves, having paid into
the Association the annual membership dues of $50.
- Honorary Member - An honorary member shall be a
member who has reached the minimum of 55 years of age and who has
retired from the active duties as a duly authorized building
inspector or building official, having paid into the Association the
annual membership dues of $10.
- Associate Member - An associate member shall be
a membership open to any person or firm engaged in a related
building field and not otherwise eligible for regular membership,
having paid into the Association the annual membership dues of $50.
- Auxiliary Member - An auxiliary member shall be
a qualified municipal building inspector, such as a assistant
building inspector, who is other than the regular member
representing that governmental unit, having paid into the
Association the annual membership dues of $40.
